Registration link

A one-day conference and concert to mark the 350th anniversary of the death of Captain Henry Cooke (d.1672), sometime Master of the Children of the Chapel Royal. There is an exceptional array of speakers lined up for the event, which should promote some excellent discourse into the world of Seventeenth-Century English music:

The registration fee (£30) grants access to the entire one-day event, including the evening concert, with refreshments throughout the day. (N.B. lunch and dinner are not included.)

The event is affiliated and kindly sponsored by the Church Music Society, as well as the University of Oxford Faculty of Music. Full details, including paper titles, abstracts, and timings, are available at this link. The event is being convened by Samuel Teague, DPhil Candidate in Music at The Queen’s College, Oxford.
